Relaxing dive in the darkness
Relaxing dive in the darkness of the Blaustein Lake by Eschweiler near Aachen. The depth was about 40 meter and the visibility about 10 meters. The water temp. was 5°C. We used lamps by Tillytec. The Maxi Light and the W40. Thanks goes to Beluga.
Lampentest Tillytec Backup W40 Blausteinsee auf 35 Meter
For this diving session the Tillytec W40 was tested by my buddy. He had bought it for himself and is enthusiastic. My 3 watts LED is the purest tea-kettle lamp against this. A sorry because of the image quality. The CCD sensor of my camera has broken. A Lumix TZ7 is already ordered. Films follow.
Here is another good short clip you can see about underwater world. Not because one of our light was used, but because of the pictures. But please take a look at yourself. Thanks goes to Thierry Minet.
TillyTec Light Comparison at Day and Night
In the first part of the video different lamps are formed on a wall from the same distance. The transparency of the lamps shall be clarified at the breaker box so. Therefore particularly the ratio of spot, stray light and the light colour. An absolute brightness comparison is not possible because of the automatic regulation of the shutter dissolve. In the second part of the video a greater three-dimensional object is flashing from direct diving and cross diving to the object, to clarify around the illumination at nightly conditions.

Comparison between Tillytec LED 1000-S2 and Halogen 50 Watt
In the first part of the video various lights from the same distance under very dark conditions are beamed at a wall. At the junction box should be made clear picture of the light bulbs. Particularly the relationship between spot and scattered light and the light color. An absolute magnitude comparison is not possible, because of the automatic adjustment of the camera aperture. In the second part of the video in a larger three-dimensional object is illuminated to and past diving to illustrate the illumination during nighttime conditions.
